Study participants who kept their houses clean were more active and healthier than those who did not. Home cleanliness, in fact, was more of a predictor of good physical health than the neighbourhood’s walkability.

How can you keep up with your job, your family, or even have time for hobbies when all f your valuable time is spent on cleaning? Unfortunately, when you have a disorganised house, you are much less efficient, and so you end up with even less free time to enjoy yourself. It can turn into a vicious cycle that never seems to end.

Like with any major project, the solution is to take it one step at a time. Devote 30 minutes per day on organisation and cleaning. If you don’t have enough time to do that, try sending 15 minutes instead, or even 10 minutes.

3. You tend to forget how good it feels to be organised.
